Open Evening '23

We are delighted to invite you to our Open Evening on 27 September 2023 between 5:30-7:30pm

What will you see?

We are excited to welcome prospective pupils, parents and carers to our Open Evening. This is a wonderful chance to see Brockington College, meet its staff and speak to some of our fantastic pupils, and get a feel for what makes us a really special school. During the evening you will have the opportunity to hear about our college vision, values and ethos from our Principal, Sadie Batstone, and talk to senior staff about other aspects of school life, including the huge range of enrichment opportunities open to our pupils. There will also be the chance to walk around the school site at your leisure and visit all of our subject areas, meet staff and students and take part in a range of exciting activities! At Brockington, “Learning to Live Life to the Full” is more than just a motto – it is the heartbeat of our school, and we cannot wait to welcome you!

Who are we?

We are a forward-looking and inclusive Church of England Academy. Central to all we do is our mission statement ‘learning to live life to the full’. Taken from John 10:10, it is our aim that all students at Brockington College are able to flourish academically and spiritually, in their talents and through their character.

Not only do we seek to deliver excellent academic outcomes for students but we equally provide opportunities for students to discover who they might become,  what interests they might pursue, what hidden talents they have and what values they hold.  We endeavour to provide a rounded education that enables young people to develop holistically so that they can become successful and well-rounded citizens who care for those around them.

We are thrilled that the impact of our vision was recognised in our most recent SIAMS inspection in June 23 where we were judged to be ‘Excellent’.
