Microsoft Office … for FREE!



Under a Microsoft licencing agreement we have enrolled in we are able to offer all students the ability to download the latest version of Microsoft Office, for Windows, Mac, Iphone & Android – for free, for the duration of their time at Brockington College.

Downloading & logging in:

If you are ready to download the software simply click here and logon with your son or daughters email address (username@brockington.leics.sch.uk) and school password. Once logged in click ‘Install Office 2016‘ in the top right. corner. Please note that if your son or daughter changes their school password at any point, they will need to re-sign in to Microsoft Office with their new password.

For any problems/questions regarding singing into Microsoft Office/Office 365, please contact the  IT Support team: itsupport@brockington.leics.sch.uk

Brockington College Students return to Parliament

On Thursday 3rd March 2016, Alberto Costa, MP for South Leicestershire, met with a group of students from Brockington College, during their visit to the Parliamentary Education Service. This trip followed an earlier visit in January by another group of students from the college. The visiting students were provided a tour of the Palace of Westminster, information on Parliamentary functions as well as the opportunity to meet and ask questions to their MP.

Over £7000 raised in Charity Fun Run

On Friday 24th April 2015 Brockington College held it’s Annual Charity Fun Run.

The run was held in aid of the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation who are dedicated to funding research into the treatment of paralysis caused by spinal cord injury. They recently featured on BBC’s Panorama talking about one of potentially the biggest medical breakthroughs of our lifetime.

The run was also is attended by friend of the college and dedicated fundraiser (and awareness-raiser) Claire Lomas. More details on Claire’s incredible journey can be found here.

CSI Brocko (8 of 44)A body has been found at Brockington College!

At approximately 15:00 on Wednesday 11th February staff at Brockington College were alerted to an unsavoury smell emanating from the boiler room where the remains of a suspected homicide victim have been found.

Luckily DI Banton and her crack team of Crime Scene Investigators were on hand to help crack the case.
