100% Totes Emosh Day…
We got our bacon and eggs back- yay- long missed due to the powercut from the crazy weather yesterday morning. Then we headed off in our sexy
new coach to our final day at Zama. As usual, the kids were buzzing to see us all.
..Firstly, we all did our own little things with the kids in small groups. Meanwhile, the climbing frame got completed- adding swings to finish the snazzy look. The children loved it! Then, the tattoo parlour opened up for business as the kids streamed in. Girls had metallic tiaras on their foreheads and even the boys had butterflies on their cheeks after the boy tattoos ran out. Piggy back races took place and both James and Jack faceplanted!! To celebrate our last day at the school, we hosted a BBQ, woop woop!!
Nandi (one of their teachers) showed off her moves and sang her heart out, which was a lovely way to finish our time there. A whole load of farewells were spoken and most the kids were in tears. Bless their lil cotton socks! When they started, it also got most of us teary aswell!!
What an amazing experience we’ve all had helping at their school and seeing the impact we’ve had on their community is incredible! Today was definitely a day we will all never forget. By Georgia, Reesha and Phoebe.
