Physical Education

The PE curriculum offers a comprehensive range of experiences to meet the needs of individual pupils and encourage active involvement by all as performers, observers and officials. Modules ensure that pupils will experience athletics, dance, gymnastics and health related fitness, games (rugby, football, netball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, hand ball, hockey, cricket and rounders).
Pupils are taught new skills and are encouraged to apply them effectively in a variety of different situations. Pupils are encouraged to develop positive personal qualities such as tolerance, fun, play, sportsmanship, enthusiasm, confidence and an awareness of individual strengths and weaknesses and a positive attitude towards and active and healthy lifestyle.
