The Youth Centre within the College is shared with Community and provides a well furnsihed and equipped social area. Indoor facilities include table tennis, a table football machine, a pool table, four internet ready computers, an interactive TV area and a fully equipped kitchen area. All youth activites are run by fully qualified and CRB checked Leicestershire Youth Service trained Youth Workers. Outdoor activities are available during the summer and half term months that include residential trips, camping trips, canoeing and narrow boat trips.

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme has been operating at Brockington since 1988. The group meets on Thursday evenings and young people have individual projects that help them gain their Bronze and Silver awards.

After 2 years hard work, and following young people raising £30,000, the Drummond Skills Centre has opened. This is also the home of the Brockington Youthbike project, where a small group of students from the college get the chance to build, design and paint a motor cycle and enter it into the National Youthbike Competition in July after a year's work. This project has won 15 National Awards in the past 3 years.
