March 2017 Bulletin

With the change to become an 11-16, the college has been rapidly evolving over the past two years. We have added a further 450 pupils, 18 classrooms and staffing has increased by 40%. Members of staff have developed new curricula across a range of subjects and we have undertaken a range of activities for the first time such as the options process, post 16 evenings, UCAS Progress applications and GCSE mock examinations.

Now we come to the historic moment when our first ever Year 11 pupils sit their GCSE exams. I am really proud of how hard the vast majority of pupils have worked towards the exams so far. I see so many pupils staying late after school for revision classes or to complete extra work and having spoken to Year 11 pupils, I know that they have revision plans in place and are revising diligently.
