As always, it has been an extremely busy time at Brockington College but if we are going to be true to our values and ‘learning to live life to the full’ then so it should be.
I was delighted with the conduct and attitude of the Year 10 pupils that sat their GCSE Science exams over the past two weeks. We had 100% attendance (other than known medical issues) for all three exams and the Invigilators were impressed with the pupils. I need to publicly thank Mrs Warner, our Exams Officer, for organising our first ever GCSE exams at Brockington. She was supported by Mr Barton and Mrs Cuppelditch to ensure that the process was as stress free as possible for the pupils. Massive thanks also to the entire science faculty led by Miss Parmar. The pupils could not have wished for better support and preparation by a brilliant team of staff. They have certainly set the benchmark for next year. Having completed GCSE Science exams, Year 10 pupils now have mock exams in other subjects after the half-term holiday. We are on the countdown to the Year 11 GCSE exams which are less than one year away!
