April & May 2015 Bulletin

The big news this month is that we have raised over £7,000 towards the Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation. This was achieved by pupils and members of staff alike, who came together for our annual fun run. This is an amazing achievement and I know it is very much appreciated by Claire Lomas and everyone connected with NSIF. The £20,000 that we have raised in three years has supported a medical breakthrough in the fight to beat paralysis. It may soon be possible that life changing injuries can be reversed and in the future we may be able to look back and know that we were all a big part of this breakthrough. Ms Wyeth was again responsible for organising the event and deserves great credit for the impact that she has had. Please take the time to look for your son or daughter amongst the many photographs, taken by Mr Jones and Mr Spencer, which are on the school website.

Our next major event will be ‘Alice in Wonderland’, performed by pupils after the half-term holiday. Rehearsals are sounding and looking brilliant and I would encourage you to enjoy an inspiring night out, by supporting this event.
