I am sure that you are looking forward to a few days of holiday with your family over the Easter period and the pupils and members of staff at Brockington have also earned a well-deserved rest. This term has been a little shorter than usual, but it has meant that we have had to fit a lot more into a shorter period as you will see from the pictures accompanying this article. We took the opportunity to allow everyone in the college to view the partial solar eclipse; the annual quiz night hosted by Duncan Willis, a parent, was the usual success and raised over £300 for our Kash4Kenya Appeal; the Brockington Family of Schools Primary Choral Concert, which combines the Brockington choir and orchestra with the voices of pupils from all seven of our catchment primary schools, was also an overwhelming success and was led this year by Miss Styles and Miss Pilgrim from our Performing Arts Faculty. I have also been delighted with the commitment of our Year 9 pupils to their recent exams; they took them extremely seriously and have now had a small taste of what to expect from the formal exam process. The term will end on Friday with Easter Services for all pupils at Enderby Parish Church. All services will be led by pupils.
